EDF’s R&D has designed a solution improving equipment instrumentation and control, known as Easy Advanced Control (EAC) for use in industry. Based on a patented automation control law, this solution improves energy efficiency and industrial performance. The EAC Plug & Play device is simple to use and can either replace the previous controller or be installed in a new set-up. Configuration and start-up are made easy using the self-tuning function.

With EAC, EDF is making advanced automated control more accessible. EAC Plug & Play is an efficient regulating solution that’s simple to use. The device requires no particular training, and allows technicians and maintenance workers access to the power of EDF’s patented predictive instrumentation and control. It is compatible with all equipment that can be remotely controlled, such as cold compressors or compressed air, pumps, valves, fans, and more.
Through its easy, robust and efficient approach to regulation, EAC Plug & Play improves industrial performance and makes it possible to lower energy bills (energy savings, shift to a lower power plan and fewer overruns). EAC offers installations better stability, which in turn translates to lower maintenance costs and an increase in equipment service life. Through strict adherence to instructions, it also leads to improved product quality.
