The net zero goal involves more uses for electric power and increased use of low-carbon electricity. Nevertheless, some processes, particularly industrial processes, will remain intrinsically CO₂ emitters. EDF is therefore developing CO₂ capture and storage processes to reduce these residual emissions. This is how it is using innovation towards decarbonising industry.
