Access to electricity is still a challenge in many countries. To rise to it, the EDF group has developed two interconnected digital tools called Sunyata and Leni. Sunyata identifies the geographical areas that lack access to water and electricity. Leni then determines the most suitable solution for bringing power to the villages in a particular region. This can be accomplished by extending the grid, building a microgrid, or by developing individual solar power kits.
