Alexandre Perra joined EDF in November 2014, as Executive Director attached to the Chairman and CEO and in charge of governmental relations. He took part in the definition of the CAP 2030 company strategy and the launch of the Group’s Storage plan in 2017. In 2018, he took the lead of the Group's storage plan, relying especially on doubling EDF's R&D investments. He also launched project Y, which mobilises young employees for EDF’s digital transformation. In July 2019, he was appointed Group Senior Executive Vice President, Innovation, Corporate Social Responsibility and Strategy. He is Chairman of EDF Pulse Croissance Holding and a member of the Supervisory Board of Enedis and of the Board of Directors of the environmentally and socially engaged EDF Foundation. Before joining EDF, Alexandre Perra worked at Thales, as part of its Strategy department, then Group Global Communications, before moving on to Media Relations. He is a graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and holds a Master’s degree in modern literature.
