As a physico-chemical engineer and Doctor of Biology, Kalina Raskin is passionate about the incredible abilities of living beings and, since 2010, has been promoting the innovation that it inspires. Today, she is in charge of the development of CEEBIOS, the European Centre of Excellence in Biomimicry. The objective of this Centre is to promote biodiversity as a means of progress for responsible innovation, by bringing together European skills and supporting the development of innovative projects resulting from bio-inspiration.
